Heine Goodale Law (HGL) sought to establish a distinctive corporate identity that stands out in the traditionally male-dominated real estate law sector in Boston. Project Overview:

Heine Goodale Law (HGL) sought to establish a distinctive corporate identity that stands out in the traditionally male-dominated real estate law sector in Boston. The firm’s founder, a former partner at a larger real estate law firm, desired a brand that was unapologetically feminine and uniquely sophisticated, embodying a style more akin to Lilly Pulitzer than conventional corporate aesthetics.

Objectives:

  • Develop a bold and feminine brand identity.
  • Enhance brand visibility and differentiation within the competitive Boston real estate market.
  • Create a cohesive brand experience that appeals to their target demographic of real estate agents, loan officers, and referring attorneys from various fields.

Strategy:

1. Brand Positioning:

  • Emphasized HGL’s mission as a women-owned business offering concierge-level legal services.
  • Positioned HGL as a friendly, accessible, and education-focused firm, aiming to provide a pleasant and professional experience.

2. Visual Identity:

  • Designed a logo and brand colors that reflect the firm’s feminine and vibrant personality.
  • Used primary colors like HGL Midnight Blue and Kelly Green to maintain brand consistency.

3. Marketing Collateral:

  • Developed marketing materials, including business cards, brochures, and in-store signage.
  • Ensured all materials were aligned with the brand’s unique aesthetic.

4. Digital Presence:

  • Revamped the website to reflect the new branding, incorporating SEO-friendly content to enhance online visibility.
  • Implemented strategic keywords related to real estate law, Boston legal services, and women-owned law firms.

  • Client Engagement: The approachable and professional brand image attracted a steady flow of referrals from real estate agents, loan officers, and other attorneys.
  • Growth: Within the first year, HGL met its goals of handling 250 purchases and 250 sales, generating $750K in revenue.

Conclusion:

Heine Goodale Law’s rebranding project successfully highlighted the firm’s unique position in the market. By embracing a bold and unapologetically feminine identity, HGL was able to differentiate itself from the competition and build a strong, recognizable brand.
